XplorMor Team is on a research and exploration expedition in Panama, in the heart of Central America. The Team is trekking and photographing various areas of the country, including venturing across remote wilderness terrain in the Darien jungle to search for petroglyphs (mysterious ancient rock carvings), touring cloud forests and coffee plantations of Boquete, boating, hiking and snorkeling through Bastimentos National Marine Park near Bocas del Toro, and discovering history and architecture of Old Panama, declared UNESCO World Heritage Site No. 790 .
Internet connection in Panama’s remote and mysterious Darien National Park is non-existent. We will post once we return to the city or when we return stateside from our research and exploration of Panama. Look for the next Xplorer Journal in May! Update: watch XplorMor Photographic and Terrain Expedition slide shows (updated 2015 with photos and information from the expedition).
