Uzol was born in Nepal in the lap of the Great Himalayas, home to Earth’s highest mountain, Mount Everest, known in Nepali as Sagarmāthā and in Tibetan as Chomolungma. When he was 12, he had his first experience and feeling of what it means to travel in the world. Since 2009, Uzol has been exploring and trekking the famed mountains of Nepal. He has hiked to Everest Base Camp more than 20 times, to Annapurna Base Camp more than 10 times, and to several other mountain base camps and world-class trekking routes. His highest elevation to date is 5,416 meters or 17,770 feet. Currently, Uzol works as a Trek Leader, Guide and Photographer for Wonderful Everest View Treks & Expedition Company based in Nepal. In his spare time he shares photos from these adventures and his Xplorer Journal with the XplorMor Community.
